Warriors 2nd Half Rally Falls Short with Tough Loss to Ashville

The U12 Warriors found themselves down 4-0  before scoring to make the score 5-1 at halftime.  However, the young predominantly U11s playing up for the first time would not be denied an opportunity.  Karter Flowers scored 4 straight goals to even the score with 12 minutes remaining in the game.  Goalkeeper Dathan Curp played an outstanding game in goal with 14 saves.  With the score tied 5-5, Ashville's Freddy Ruiz would not be denied a victory, tallying 2 goals and 1 assist to add to his total of 6 goals on the night.  "One reason we switched leagues was to increase our level of play/competition" stated head coach Randy Vice " We did that tonight."  The Warriors face the Panthers Thursday night.
